The 46th Annual GJKT will feature the Kickoff Beach Tournament on Saturday July 11th. And like the name says, it is a tournament fished within state waters (3 miles out) from Brunswick inlet to the Flagler Pier. Top prize is $50,000 cash (300 Entries), and we will pay down to at least 20 places. The GJKT General Tournament on Friday July 17th with another awesome Top Prize of the Contender 28T !!!

Jacksonville Marine Charities, Inc., the 501 c(3) organization behind the Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament, evolved through the success of the GJKT and utilizes its proceeds to support marine science research, preservation, and education. The Board’s criteria for funding a project is strict. It must be marine-oriented and overseen or proposed by other non-profit groups. The effects of these donations are far-reaching and benefit, not only Jacksonville and the First Coast, but also the entire state of Florida.

Benefiting the Community through Jacksonville Marine Charities, Inc. The Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament, held each year in July at Jim King Park & Boat Ramp at Sisters Creek, is one of the largest kingfish tournaments in the Southeast. In addition to the GJKT General Tournament including Lady Anglers division and the Kickoff Beach Tournament, there will be a Junior Angler Offshore Tournament and a Junior Dock Tournament on 2 separate days as well as the return of the Redfish Tournament on Awards Day!
