Tournament Rules

Do I need a fishing license? Where can I buy one?
- Yes - a valid Florida saltwater fishing license is required. If you are also fishing or taking bait in Georgia waters, you must have a valid Georgeia saltwater license as well.
- Licenses are available for purchase at KMart, Walmart, and most bait shops and marinas. Click Here to purchase a Florida license online. Click Here to purchase a Georgia license online.
How many lines may be out?
- A maximum of six (6) lines may be out at any one time.
How many people can you have on a boat?
- Maximum occupancy is based on the size of the vessel and what is safe. You must meet all Coast Guard requirements for safety equipment including life vests, etc.
- There is no specific limit set by the Tournament rules.
Where can I check-out for the General Tournament?
- 3 locations: St. Augustine, Mayport, St. Marys Inlet
Where do I check-in to weigh fish?
- You must check-in through Mayport to weigh fish. All boats must check-in regardless of whether or not fish are being weighed. Phone check-in is available.
